If a student is passionate about a subject or has a certain talent, how does academyati develop further this talent or passion?

At Academyati, personalisation means recognising that learners have different strengths, interests and ambitions — and creating opportunities for them to take these further. When a learner shows a particular passion or talent, we look at how we can build a pathway around it, rather than asking them to fit within a fixed programme. This might include bringing in specialists, mentors or industry experts, connecting learners with organisations within Qatar Foundation and the wider community, or creating opportunities for deeper study, projects, competitions and real-world experiences. Learners may also be given time and space within their learning programme to pursue an area of particular interest in greater depth. Where appropriate, recognised or certified learning completed outside school can also contribute to their wider learning profile and pathway. For older learners, this becomes increasingly intentional. Through their Personal Learning Plan and conversations about future pathways, we work with each learner to identify opportunities that build on their strengths while supporting their university and future ambitions. The goal is not simply to accommodate a passion, but to help learners develop it — with greater depth, challenge, purpose and connection to the world beyond school.
